Centre tables that hold a room together

The centre table is the one piece everyone sits around, so it takes the most punishment and gets the most attention. Ours are welded from 304 stainless steel, every joint ground back and polished before finishing, then PVD-coated in gold, rose gold, matt or mirror.

Getting the proportion right

As a rule the table runs about two-thirds the length of the sofa, with the top 25–50 mm below the seat cushion — around 400–450 mm for most Indian sofas. Round tops suit tight rooms and homes with small children; rectangular tops suit longer seating runs.

Marble, glass or metal

Marble gives weight and pattern. Toughened glass keeps a small room visually open. A metal top in the same PVD finish reads as one solid sculpted object, which is how several of our luxury designs are built.
