Materials & finishes

What the furniture is actually made of, why we chose it, and how to specify it so the piece that arrives is the piece you approved.

304-grade stainless steel

The steel

304-grade stainless steel

Every frame, base and leg starts as 304 stainless — the same grade used where metal has to stay clean and true for decades.

Mild steel is cheaper and easier, and it rusts under a scratched finish. 304 stainless does not. It is heavier, harder to bend and slower to weld, which is why most furniture is not made from it. It is also why ours stays flat, stays true and stays the colour it was on day one.

Sheet is laser-cut on a 2000 × 4000 mm bed, bent on a five-axis press brake up to three metres, and V-grooved for sharp-edged profiles. Every joint is hand-welded and ground flush before polishing.

  • 304 grade throughout — no mild-steel substructure
  • Laser-cut, press-braked and hand-welded in-house
  • Welds ground and mirror-polished before coating
PVD, not plating

The colour

PVD, not plating

Physical vapour deposition bonds the colour into the steel inside a vacuum chamber. Plating sits on top of it and wears through at the edges.

That is the whole difference, and it is the reason a PVD piece still looks right on the corner everybody touches after years of use. It also means the colour is consistent across a batch, so twenty tables for a lobby come out the same gold.

Four finishes are standard. Gold and rose gold are the colours; mirror and matt are the surface under them — a mirror-polished piece reads brighter, a matt piece reads softer. Ask for a sample and we send the actual finish, not a photograph of it.

  • Gold and rose gold PVD colour
  • Mirror or matt surface under the colour
  • Physical samples before production
  • Consistent across a repeat order

Glass, marble, or the stone you have already chosen

The top

Glass, marble, or the stone you have already chosen

A base can carry glass, marble, or a slab a designer has specified elsewhere in the scheme.

Glass keeps a sculptural base visible and suits a smaller room. Marble gives weight and finishes a piece as the centre of a room. Either comes with the table.

If the project already has a stone — the same marble as the reception desk, say — tell us the slab thickness and we build the base to take it, with the fixing detail drawn before production.

  • Toughened glass or marble supplied with the piece
  • Bases built to carry your specified stone
  • Fixing detail drawn and approved first

Specifying a finish

How to write it into a schedule

01

Frame

304-grade stainless steel, laser-cut and hand-welded, welds ground flush and polished.

02

Finish

PVD coating, gold or rose gold, on a mirror or matt surface. Sample to be approved before production.

03

Top

Toughened glass or marble, or stone by others with base built to slab thickness.

04

Size

Length × breadth × height in millimetres. Every design is made to order, so state the size the room needs.

Before you ask

Materials questions

Every piece is built from 304-grade stainless steel and finished with PVD coating, which bonds colour to the metal itself. The result resists scratches, tarnish and corrosion far better than plated or painted furniture, and keeps its shine for years.
Yes. Most designs are available with marble or toughened glass tops, and we can quote other stones or sizes on request. Send us the design name and your requirement and we will confirm feasibility and price.
Frames are stainless steel with a gold or rose gold PVD finish. Tops are natural marble or toughened glass, depending on the design.
Yes — the frame and PVD finish carry a warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty terms are shared with your quotation.
Ready designs usually dispatch within 5-7 working days. Customised sizes or finishes take longer; we confirm the timeline when quoting.
Yes, we export. Share your city and country with your enquiry and we will quote freight separately.
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking further, and contact us the same day. We arrange replacement or repair for transit damage.
Both. We are the manufacturer, so you can buy from us directly, through one of our dealers, or specify us on a project and have us invoice whoever is paying.
Yes. Nearly every design in the range is made to order, so the length, width and height can move to suit the space. Send the dimensions and we will tell you what is buildable.
Plating sits on top of the metal and wears through at the edges. PVD bonds the colour into the surface inside a vacuum chamber, which is why our gold and rose gold still look the same after a few years of use.
Anywhere in India, crated for site delivery, and we ship to export clients as well. Tell us the delivery city when you enquire so freight is quoted properly rather than added later.
Designs we hold ready typically dispatch in five to seven working days. Custom sizes and quantity orders depend on the piece and the number — tell us both and we will give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.
Because the same design changes price with its size, finish and table top, and quantity changes it again. Send the specification and you get a real number, not a starting-from figure.

Ask for a finish sample

A photograph cannot show you the difference between mirror and matt gold. A sample can. Tell us the finish and where to send it.
